💡Create a sensor alert
You must follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Home -> Administration and Configuration -> Alerts.
2. Click on " ADD AN ALERT ".
3. Enter the minimum and maximum threshold values for the accepted data interval recorded by the sensor in the " min " and " max " fields.
4. Choose from the drop down menu the " alert type " to trigger:
- Min: For the minimum value, in the case where the sensor detects a value lower than the minimum value.
- Max: For the maximum value, in the case where the sensor detects a value higher than the maximum threshold.
- Min_Max: For both values, in the case where the sensor detects a value lower or higher than the threshold interval.
5. Enter in " alert time " the value in minutes after which the notification will be sent.
6. Select the " email addresses " from the " user list " to receive the alert notification by email.
7. Select the desired " sensor " to be alerted about its activity.
8. Check the box " Activated " if you wish to enable the created alert.
9. Validate your data.
